Firstly, we at Global Cargo Movers would like to apologize to those of you that may have experienced some delays during our peak season.
As discussed in the previous memo, much of the delays in our delivery was caused by backlogs from our shipping lines and customs release of our containers due to port congestion.
A blessing in disguise is that the backlog in containers brought to light areas where we can improve our structure and processes in the company in order to avoid similar delays in 2019.
We would like to take this chance to notify you that we have listened to your concerns and heard your recommendations.
Global Cargo has just acquired a larger warehouse in Manila in order to facilitate our growing volume.
On top of that, we have purchased a larger fleet of delivery trucks, hired more delivery crew, and are restructuring/retraining our call centers.
In doing so, we promise to improve our delivery time, maintain the safety and security of your valuable balikbayan boxes, and better assist you in follow ups.
We would just like to ask for your patience and understanding during this transition period as we improve our processes and structure.
Our core values remain the same; meaning despite the rising costs in the shipping industry, we will continue to maintain competitive and affordable prices and all the while continue to improve our services.
Lastly, we would like to address the false rumors spread by unreliable sources regarding the state of our company.

Throughout the years, we have changed the market floor price of sending boxes to the Philippines and our competitors followed suit, which in turn made it more affordable for the consumers.
Ever since the establishment of Global Cargo 10 years ago, we have never abandoned one single shipment at port.
From our humble beginnings, we continue to improve every year not only in volume but our services as well.
